Good Morning to each of you on this first Sunday in June!
This Sunday, the message is from Luke’s Gospel (12:49-59). Jesus moves from speaking of the 2nd coming to now speaking words about the effect of the gospel that both unifies us to God and divides us in the World. I sincerely do hope that the Spirit can empower us for such an important event (one the Scripture speaks of often!).
Moving to Reopening | Our Leadership Team met this week and discussed plans to “reopen” our Sunday service this next Sunday, June 14th at 10:00. We are putting plans in place to take precautions and will send out details early this week. The service will also be live-streamed for those who are unable to attend.
Small Group Zoom | As announced in the video, we’d like to offer a chance to get together as a church in a “Small Group” meeting via Zoom at 6:30pm, Sunday evening. Here is the Zoom meeting link to access the group: https://zoom.us/j/293128782 (the software may take a couple of minutes to load if new user).
Giving at Church or Online | A reminder that the church will be open Wednesday 1pm-4pm & Friday 9am-noon to drop of giving at church. Or, if you’d like to give digitally: text the word “GIVE” to 507-222-0702 for a one-time gift (or text “GIVE WEEKLY” or “GIVE MONTHLY” for recurring gifts). This number is a secure service.
As you gather around the video, whether on your own or with others, know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.
